Website Final Draft

http://www.stmaryleboneschool.com/studentsite/media/2012/jessica.html

The only thing I had changed from my first draft was the font I used for "Synopsis, Cast, Sountrack etc" as I thought it would look better if it matched with the line "Never think you're alone". As well as changing the font, I also corrected the word "Synopsis" from "Sypnosis".

Website JPEG First Draft

This is my first draft to my website background, however after looking back at it I realised that there is a major spelling error- "Sypnosis" where it should be "Synopsis". To correct this I will have to change it in photoshop and re-do the text. Then reupload the imaage on macromedia dreamworks and realign the trailer to fit again. The overall look, I think, looks wuite professtional as it is conventional with the image on the left, the movie title "Stalked" quite central and large, the billing box, production names and the different links like "cast". I also included multimedia social network images like "twitter" and "facebook" which is conventional to movie websites.

Final Draft Poster 2

For this poster, I again added another line to the billing box as the poster itself looked quite empty. As well as spacing the Actors names at the top.

Final Draft Poster 1

Differently from the first draft, I added another line to my billing box to make it seem more professional. As well as lining the actors names at the top of my poster as they were slightly out beforehand.

Poster Feedback

The feedback I was told to change for my posters was to add extra names and titles in my billing boxes and mainly to shift titles like the actors names, and "coming soon" more central to make it look more professional

Backing track Idea

I thought that the idea of the song "Teddy Bears Picnic" would be a good idea to use for our trailer mainly because our film is set in the woods, and also I find that children's songs or lullabies are quite effective when it comes to horror films

Screen Shot of our Setting and Filming

This is a screen shot of Amy our actress and main character in Highgate woods, where our film is mainly set. The locations of our films will mainly be in the woods and at Penny's, Anthony's and our friend Polina's house for our "party scene". We all agreed on Highgate woods as it's still quite a central location so it will be easy to travel to when we need to re-shoot. As well as being really dense with tree's and nature it is also iscolated and empty of other people which could have been a problem when filming as people may have accidentally gotten in the shot.

Practice Filming at Kensington Palace

I had attended a trip at Kensington Palace with fellow students. We were given a brief and filmed a montage of clips with the theme "Transformation" which I had really enjoyed and learnt how to get to grips with the effectiveness of lighting, movement and props.

Actors, Costumes and Props

Maya Ellis- Wearing all black with no props.
Seth Tonkin- Wearing all black, face hidden, large kitchen knife as a prop
Amy Cottor- Hair in plaits, jeans, jumper, coat and boots- no props

I found that taking pictures of our actors in costume on our first shoot will be beneficial as then when re-shooting costumes and props will be correct and therefore leaving our trailer with high continuity.
